In good conditions, except for some foxings on lower margin and yellowing of paper. Includes passepartout: 43 x 34 cm Lettered below image with title, ''From the picture in the Royal Collection'', production detail: ''D. Roberts R.A. Pinxt.'', ''E. Challis Sculpt.'' and publication line: ''London, Published for the Proprietors''. The artwork represents a view of a market in a busy street, leading to a gateway with two towers on the background. Ebenezer Challis (1806-1881) was a famous engraver of landscapes and architecture, specialist in interiors particularly of the Middle East and of the Arab world. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
