Pastel and felt on paper stuck on canson paper (26 x 20 cm) Hand-signed by the artist on lower right. This beautiful composition represents a mixed colored lady portrait wearing a big hat. Olga Klein Astrachan (1907-1999). Painter and ceramist. Born January 17, 1907 in St. Petersburg, French of Russian origin. She studied at the Higher Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin (Germany). Subsequently, she works for Ulstein and Mosse, she makes the sets and costumes for ''The Blue Bird'' at the theater of Jushny. In 1933, she returned to France in Paris. In 1937, she was noticed by André Warnod at the International Universal Exhibition where she was invited by Raymond Cogniat. In 1937, she married Loca Astrachan. From 1940 to 1945, Olga Klein Astrachan will reside in Toulouse. At the end of the Second World War, she returned to Paris and participated in various major salons, House of Culture, Galleries. In 1948, Olga Klein Astrachan started to practice the art of ceramics. less

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
