Signed on plate on lower right margin ''piranesi f.'' original title is etched on the lower right margin: ''veduta del ponte lugano su l'anione nella via tiburtina risarcito ne' tempi bassi a sepolcro della famiglia plauzia'' (the ponte lucano, with the tomb of the plautii) according to hind, this is the plate number 68 and this is the first state on iv.
