The top of the backrest features a remarkable medallion in Wedgwood blue jasper, depicting a classical scene, delicately surrounded by a garland of pearls, a large ribbon bow, and finely carved foliage. The entire frame, crafted from molded wood, is adorned with a continuous pattern of pearls and ovals, while the armrests stand out for their painted ornamentation, which underscores the refinement of the structure. The wing chair rests on four turned, fluted, and squared legs, typical of the Louis XVI aesthetic and reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship of the late 19th century. The upholstery has been restored using traditional methods, with springs and horsehair, ensuring authentic and lasting comfort; the current checkered fabric can be reupholstered to your taste to blend seamlessly into your interior.
