They have released 6 albums since 2000 and received critical acclaim across Canada and the United States. In 2007, Blender magazine ranked The New Pornographers' first album, Mass Romantic, the 24th best indie album of all time. It is the second-highest Canadian album on the list, behind Arcade Fire's Funeral (which came in sixth). This poster was for their show at First Avenue, a concert venue in Minneapolis, in October of 2007. First Avenue has been working with Aesthetic Apparatus to create their event posters for over 12 years.
