Florenz was one of Vienna's first and oldest weighing and weighing factories in Austria-Hungary. The first founder was in 1768, followed by Florenz and whose descendants developed their products up to the twentieth century. In the late 18th century, society became even an imperial supplier. The Napoleonic wars then brought the company into financial trouble. Thanks to the inventions, innovations, acquisitions and the use of new technological methods, the factory has been able to expand its market beyond the borders of the Austrian Empire.
