Tibetan bronze, 18th/19th century. Detailed Vajrasattva figure, a Bodhisattva. Its resting on a single lotus base and peacefully seated in padmasana (position/pose in Meditation).
In both hands he attributes, single ended Vajra's symbols. This Buddha has a peaceful facial expression derived from deep meditation. It is surrounded by the ribbons of the robe. Great detailing all around and a rich patina.
The head is embellished with a five-leaved crown. It has a Tibethan inscription to its back.
