The symbiosis between the Ainu people and nature is timeless – a tradition that is celebrated with SoShiro's eponymous Ainu collection. This collection collaborated with the Kaizawa sculptural workshop where they have designed and carved a contemporary Ainu motif representing the eyes of the Blakiston Fish Owl, a symbol of protection for the Ainu people.
The Ainu owl motif has been echoed in the collection's white clay ceramic designs, which are cast and hand-finished by specialists in the Veneto region, Italy. The Bento is generous in size and allows for a sophisticated and artistic presentation of food. The moveable rod can be removed to create a serving dish for any type of food. A great piece for those who love artistic presentations of food.
