Advertising sketch is an original watercolor china ink drawing realized by Gabriele Galantara, the state of preservation of the artwork is good. The artworks represent an advertising sketch, created with strong lines, skilfully expressed in Expressionistic scratches from "The Donkey" magazine.Not signed. Gabriele Galantara (1867-1937), journalist and one of the major Italian caricaturists and satirical designers. The Donkey was a political satire magazine in 1892, the year of the first Giolitti ministry and the establishment of the Italian Socialist Party, The magazine was conceived by Guido Podrecca,and by Gabriele Galantara, brilliant cartoonist and puppeteer, also a socialist. The two assumed the pseudonyms of "Goliardo" (Podrecca) and "Rata Langa" (Galantara), and with these nicknames, they signed the issues of the weekly. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
