An elegant and beautifully crafted pair of Turkish sterling silver centerpiece bowls by Damar, dating to the late 20th century, distinguished by their sculptural floral forms, gracefully undulating rims, and intricate botanical decoration.
Each bowl is fashioned in the shape of an open flower, featuring a broad, gently recessed center surrounded by dramatic, overlapping petal-like contours. The flowing edges are beautifully modeled with raised folds and subtle surface variations, creating a wonderful sense of natural movement.
Particularly distinctive are the delicate applied floral branches and budding blossoms extending around the perimeter of each bowl. These finely detailed botanical elements complement the generous sweeping forms, giving the pair an elegant, organic character.
