An icon of 20th-century modernist design, the LC2 features an architectural form with an exposed tubular steel frame surrounding loose, generously proportioned cushions. The distinctive separation of the structural steel frame from the upholstered cushions reflects the rationalist principles of modernist design.

The LC2 Petit Modèle chair is compact, sturdy and deeply comfortable. This chair features classic high-grade black leather upholstery with a polished chrome tubular steel frame and nickel-plated steel glides. Original impressed model designation and serial number “LC2 014705” on the chrome frame with faint traces of the Cassina M silkscreened logo mark. Made in Italy.

CONDITION
Overall good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Frame is bright and clean with light surface wear and minor oxidation. Leather is worn in from typical use over time exhibiting generalized wear, softening and creasing with minor surface abrasions and rubbing. Top leather panel of right armrest has been professionally replaced.
