The elegant shape beautifully catches and refracts the light.
A truly remarkable feature of this piece is its complete historical integrity: both the underside of the decanter base and the bottom plug of the heavy, faceted stopper feature a matching, hand-etched artisan number "24". Before modern machine assembly, high-end European crystal studios custom-ground each stopper by hand to perfectly fit its specific bottle for a seamless, airtight seal. Finding a 100% original, factory-matched set intact today is a rare find for collectors.
Boasting a substantial weight, and that unmistakable brilliant ring unique to high-quality lead crystal, this decanter is as functional as it is beautiful. The stopper is slightly angled at the top adding to the uniqueness of this decanter. There is a tiny flea bite on the inside of the stopper. The part that goes into the bottle. It’s really tiny and hard to photograph. It does
not affect the display or use of the decanter. The decanter measures approximately 16.5 inches tall. Ideal for entertaining or for anyone who appreciates classic crystal barware. See less
