Small Size Measuring Approx. 1 … Read more This Really is a Beautiful & Very Fine Quality Antique English Sterling Silver Trinket Box. Small Size Measuring Approx. 1 1/4 inches Tall x 2 9/16 inches Long x 2 1/2 inches Wide. It is Rendered in the Classic "Victorian Sweetheart" Style. The Box is Completely Hand Made - Hand Chased - Repousse Decorated in a Fancy Rococo Revival Style that Includes Flowers. It has an Assortment English Hallmarks on the Bottom Some of Which are Worn and Partially Obscured. I was Able to Decipher City of London "Panther Head" Mark Confirming where it was Made. It Also has The Lion Passant English Sterling Silver Standard Mark along with The Proper Stylized "b" Date Letter Confirming that it was Made in 1897. NOTE that the Makers Hallmark - First Letter is a 'M" but the Rest of the Initials are Quite Worn so I was Not Able to Decipher. Also Note that it has the "b" Date Letter & The Lion Silver Mark on the Top Interior Perimeter. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition with Minimal Age and Use Related Wear - Displays Beautifully. It is Lightly Tarnished.

It has a Substantial Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 50.72 Grams / 1.631 Troy Ounces. It is Guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver and Authentic Antique.
