Pair of Danish Neoclassical Modern lounge chairs designed by Ole Wanscher, Denmark, 1948. Finely crafted of mahogany, the chairs feature gracefully sloping arms, elegantly curved backs, and slender tapered legs. Inspired by classical English Regency furniture, the refined architectural form reflects Wanscher's mastery of traditional cabinetmaking and understated Danish Modern design. Upholstered in black leather, providing a handsome contrast to the rich mahogany frames. Excellent condition with minor signs of age-appropriate use. (Unmarked)
