The top of this table is made of an incredible onyx, which showcases brilliant white and tan veining. The stone is in good condition with minimal surface scratches and etching, consistent with this table’s age and continued use. In the apron is a single drawer that opens smoothly with an ornate rosette-shaped brass knob. The drawer front and sides of the table are decorated with “Louis cube” marquetry done in mahogany. Brass acanthus leaves flank the drawer and marquetry panels to direct the eye down the elongated base. Toward the middle of the table is a lower shelf made from the same onyx as the top, which offers space for a bit of open storage or creating a small display. The legs are shaped like classical columns and feature beautiful tooled brass accents before transitioning into toupie feet. With its fine craftsmanship and unique appeal, this table would be a perfect addition to any space. Gently cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
