The case exterior is finished in smooth, polished silver with softly rounded corners designed to slide comfortably into a jacket pocket. The concealed enamel plaque depicts a dark-haired nude woman reclining on a rocky outcrop amidst breaking coastal surf. Rendered in rich polychrome enamels with subtle flesh tones, shaded musculature, and luminous turquoise sea spray, the miniature composition is completed with an artist’s monogram cipher tucked into the lower right corner. The glossy, undisturbed enamel surface demonstrates the exceptional skill typical of high-end Viennese enamel workshops of the Belle Époque.
