The frame features a waisted double-basket base supported on small moulded feet, flanked by twin circular holders designed to secure table cruets. Each receptacle is detailed with open fretwork, featuring punctured lancet and heart motifs characteristic of classical Leeds creamware designs. Two small cylindrical wells set between the compartments provide convenient rests for stoppers or utensils. The central upright rises into an arching handle modelled as a stylised bird or dolphin, offering both a stable grip and a decorative focal point. Accompanying the stand are two matching ceramic ewers, each fashioned with a pear-shaped baluster body, a pinched pouring lip, and a slender applied loop handle. All pieces are coated in a uniform, high-gloss cream glaze that highlights the relief moulding around the column and base. Probably made during the mid-to-late twentieth century, this set reflects the traditional earthenware table services developed in Yorkshire during the late eighteenth century. The smooth earthenware body is finely potted, giving crisp definition to the pierced fretwork while remaining robust enough for functional condiment serving. Standing 28 cm in total height, the ensemble serves as an elegant centrepiece for serving oil, vinegar, or sauces, as well as a striking decorative display piece for a sideboard or dining table.
