Fabio Mauri (Rome, 1926 – Rome, 2009) was an italian artist, writer and dramatist. He was one of the main italian avant garde artist of the post Second World War period. He was invited in the Biennale di Venezia for 5 editions of the art exhibition. His works are still exhibited in museums, galleries and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The photolithograph presented is part of the book ''Manipolazioni di Cultura'', in which images, previously manipulated by nazism and fascism, are now edited by the artist. Thanks to photographic adjustment and comments in italian and german, the sense of the image is overturn or amplified, even thanks to simple and descriptive titles, always referring to the politic power. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
