The shaped top features a finely detailed classical frieze, with repeating vertical ornament and delicate beaded borders that lend architectural definition to its compact silhouette.

Beneath the wooden top, a pair of patinated brass brackets curves inward to meet in a central scrolling flourish. The organic movement of the supports introduces a subtle Art Nouveau influence, creating a pleasing contrast with the more formal Neoclassical detailing above. The warm wood finish and softly aged brass give the piece an appealing sense of character.

At just 24 inches wide, this petite console is ideally proportioned for a narrow entry hall, stair landing, or intimate sitting room. Particularly attractive beneath a small giltwood mirror or a favorite painting, styled with a porcelain vase, a pair of antique candlesticks, or a collected sculptural object.
