The softly aged gold finish accentuates the carved ornament, giving the piece an appealing sense of history without overwhelming its delicate proportions.

Inspired by the decorative traditions of 18th-century Italian furniture, the console combines the theatrical curves of the Rococo period with a wonderfully practical, space-conscious silhouette. The central support features carved acanthus-inspired detailing, while the undulating apron and gently projecting top create an elegant architectural profile.

At just over 25 inches wide, this petite console is particularly well suited to an intimate entry hall, a narrow passage, or a bedroom beneath a giltwood mirror. Style it with a small porcelain vase, a favorite piece of sculpture, or a collection of miniature portraits for a distinctly European sensibility.
