Card signed by Alfonso la Marmora. (20x9 cm). Perfect conditions. Collaborator of the King of Sardinia, Carlo Alberto, fought in the First Independence War (1848-1849). Named several times as minister of war, between 1849 and 1857 radically reorganized the Piedmont army, transforming it from quantity to quality strength. The first military adviser of the President Cavour's Council, in 1855-1856 successfully led the Piedmont contingent into the Crimean War and was a minister of war during the Second War of Independence. He was President of the Council on several occasions from 1859 to 1866, before the Kingdom of Sardinia and then the Kingdom of Italy. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
