The Artist is Bing Gleitsman. Gleitsman's work is known for quirky, sculptural, and eccentric forms that blend art pottery with decorative utility. This bowl has 3 different hand painted dimensional faces that have an eerie feel to them. This is truly a unique piece.
The top of the bowl is uneven and has a free form look (see photos). The bowl is a creamy white color, and the faces are lined in black and dark grays. There is also shading of grays and even a purplish color around the faces. The lips have some pale pink color to them (see photos).
There is a foot at the bottom of the bowl that is black (see photos).
It is signed at the bottom ... BING 1996 (see photos).
