The main body is divided into faceted panels, each detailed with intricate scenes of swimming carp and traditional pagoda architecture set beneath stylized clouds.

The neck of the vessel is framed by distinct horizontal bands of molded floral rosettes, adding a refined textural contrast to the central pictorial panels. Positioned on opposing sides of the upper neck are two hand-cast beast-head loop handles, each holding a loose, free-swinging ring that complements the urn's historic proportions.

The vessel rests on a sturdy, flared hexagonal base decorated with coordinating marine motifs that anchor the overall composition. Finished with a heavy, artificially aged verdigris oxidation and deep bronze patina, the piece captures the weathered aesthetic of archaic ritual bronzes. It serves as an expressive decorative vessel for entryways, mantelpieces, or curated tabletop displays. See less
