The long, narrow plank top rests on sturdy legs joined by traditional horizontal stretchers, reflecting the straightforward construction and understated character of Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have softened the elm to a pale, weathered finish, highlighting the natural grain, worn edges, old joinery, and subtle irregularities that make each vintage piece unique.

Its long, low proportions make this an especially versatile coffee table for placement in front of a sofa or sectional. The narrow depth is ideal for rooms where a larger coffee table might feel too imposing, while the aged elm brings warmth and texture to the space. Its simple form works beautifully in Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
