Matte glaze in muted brown and black, beige, and light blue-green, with an abstract design. 11 inches in diameter.

Fillous studied design and ceramics as a special student at the Cleveland School of Art and studied pottery privately in the 1950s with Viktor Schreckengost (1906–2008), the important American designer and sculptor, per the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Her work was exhibited at the Cleveland Museum of Art May Shows (1956), the Butler Institute of Art, and the 19th Ceramic National at Syracuse, among many others. The Butler Institute holds her work in its Collection of Ohio Ceramics and gave her a Purchase Award.
The last two photos are her Cleveland Museum of Art artist records from 1957 and 1974, which list her private tutorship with Viktor Schreckengost.
