Each arm is lined with short, fine branches, and the arms are joined by angular connecting bars that form a lattice. The outline stays crisp and graphic, while the flat, ribbon-like profile of the metal gives the piece a quiet, sculptural weight. The silverplate finish shows a soft, cool tone with a gentle gleam and a mottled, aged patina that lends the surface depth and a pleasing vintage character.

Equally at home on a dining table or hung as a winter accent, the trivet suits a kitchen, buffet, sideboard, or holiday tablescape, adding seasonal sparkle to Traditional, Contemporary, Scandinavian, Hollywood Regency, and Mid-Century Modern interiors. It pairs well with white porcelain, linen, and warm wood. To care for it, wipe with a soft dry cloth and polish occasionally with a gentle silver cleaner, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive pads and prolonged dampness, which can speed tarnishing. The piece measures 8.75 inches wide, 8.75 inches deep, and 0.75 inches high.

Presented in very good condition, the trivet has a consistent patina appropriate to its age, with minor surface scratches and light tarnishing typical of vintage silverplate. It is structurally sound, with no significant damage or visible repairs. Made in Italy, it reflects mid-century European metalwork.
