It is an original French fashion print for a DIor evening dress that originally appeared in a 1956 French haute couture magazine. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. The dress is shown from the back view. It is titled "Red Rose" And it sure does look like a flaming red rose in full bloom. Lush, seductive, dramatic and so CHIC. Note the voluminous folds in the skirt, the gentle V-shaped strapless back, the cinched waistline and the over the elbow red long gloves. This dress will turn head indeed! Pierre Mourge, a well acclaimed MC fashion illustrator, illustrated this image. He positioned the model's escort standing at her side in admiration. The print makes wonderful wall decor. It is perfect for today's vintage clothing collector or fashionista. The image is in pristine condition. It measures 9.5 x 12.5 inches. Comes affixed to acid free paper, ready for matting/framing.
