I love the Cyprus trees and the fluffy white clouds with touches of pink. Light green, gold and cream frame inspired by French Neoclassical or Louis XVI style. The actual mirror glass is original and has distressed silvering commonly known as "foxing" and some scratches. I chose to leave it as it is because I really love that look. But if you do not it would be quite easy to change it out to a new mirror panel but I feel the mirror's romantic nature is enhanced by the antique glass. Some restoration was done with the frame's carved top but it looks great and is solid. This is just a gorgeous piece and will add so much to any room. Due to it's horizontal design I can see this above a sideboard or credenza or above a mantel. But it truly could go anywhere. See less

It is quite old and has been restored to preserve it's beauty. Some imperfections consistent with age. Mirror glass has "foxing" of the silver and some scratches. The frame has had restoration work and looks great and is very solid. A new wood back panel was put on it to replace the old cardboard back.
