The design … Read more Very rare floor lamps from the Swiss manufacturer Baltensweiler designed by Rosemarie and Rico Baltensweiler in the 60s.

The design of the Guggerli lamps is very simple. The glass sphere diffusers lie or clamp in a tubular body. The luminous spheres emerge through the recess in the tube. The luminaire body is here the supporting element and at the same time a design object. The glass spheres are open to the front. The spheres lie loosely on invaginations of the tube and can thus be manually aligned. One luminaire has two spheres, the other three. The cable routing via the small vertical slot on the back is special. For stability, a heavy steel cylinder is integrated in the lower part as a weight.
The lights are in very good condition with signs of use and aging (discoloration and slight deformation due to heat and light). I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
