One of the … Read more A fabulous vintage lips sofa inspired by the iconic Bocca design created by Studio 65 in 1970. One of the most recognizable silhouettes in Pop Art furniture, the original design was influenced by Salvador Dalí's surrealist portrait of actress Mae West, famously transforming her lips into a sofa. This vintage interpretation features an exaggerated, sculptural lip-shaped silhouette upholstered in shimmering ruby-red velvet. Its generous curves, playful proportions, and glamorous upholstery capture the irreverent spirit of 1970s Italian Radical Design. Constructed with a substantial wooden frame, the sofa has a solid, sturdy feel and a striking presence. Equal parts furniture and functional sculpture, this piece is a wonderful example of the influence of Pop Art and surrealism on twentieth-century furniture design.
