The group comprises a shallow plate on foot and four small bowls, the most striking of which has a ribbed exterior and a stamped rosette to the interior. Such rosette stamps appear frequently within the Attic and South Italian pottery tradition, the region the Greeks themselves called ‘Magna Graecia’.
