Combining classical proportions with flowing art nouveau details, this chandelier reflects early twentieth-century european design.

its balanced composition and stylized decoration suggest an affinity with the austrian and viennese decorative tradition. The precise origin and maker remain undocumented.

a decorative relief band wraps around the substantial central body, while curved ornamental supports carry individually suspended, bell-shaped lamp holders. Ribbed accents, a lower finial, and a coordinating chain and ceiling canopy complete the silhouette.

the contrast between smooth metal surfaces and raised decoration gives the chandelier depth. Golden highlights emerge through the deeper brown brass patina, emphasizing the contours and decorative details.

this historical surface has been deliberately preserved. Small age-related dents, surface marks, and lighter traces within the recessed ornament—apparently old polishing residues—contribute to its individual character.

the antique ceramic socket inserts have been retained. Wiring to the individual light fittings was renewed several years ago. The main supply cable has recently been replaced by an electrician with a textile-covered cable, and protective grounding has been added.

the e27/e26 lamp holders allow the use of appropriately sized bulbs suitable for the local voltage and fixture rating.
