Strikingly architectural, this brutalist-leaning column rises out of a heavy, dramatic sculptural pedestal base heavily inspired by the sweeping, organic lines of a nautical marine propeller.

The lamp comes complete with its original premium black hardback drum shade, which conceals a magnificent design secret: a completely intact, pristine internal lining of shimmering, mottled tortoiseshell gold mineral foil. When illuminated, the dual-socket configuration casts an incredibly warm, atmospheric, and highly textured amber glow downward across the golden facets of the brass. Reflecting its premium high-end engineering, each socket is outfitted with its own independent manual turn-switch, allowing you to seamlessly customize your room’s ambient light levels.

Dimensions:
- Overall Height: Approx. 54.25” High (measured to the top of the brass ball finial)
- Base Diameter: Approx. 11.0” Diameter across the propeller footprint
- Shade Diameter: Approx. 15.6” Diameter at the widest bottom rim

Condition Report:
Great vintage condition, displaying a stunning, honest historic character. The solid brass casing features a beautiful, untouched original satin lacquer finish with an authentic, rich unpolished estate patina and light surface oxidation throughout. The structure is entirely sound, exhibiting a few minor localized cosmetic dents and light scuffs on the column edges consistent with standard historic handling and age. The original hardback shade is remarkably well-preserved with a clean black exterior and an immaculate internal foil lining free of scorching or heat cracks. Both sockets function beautifully. An absolute showstopper for an executive study, mid-century parlor, or high-end living space! See less
