Formed from lightweight, rigid pressed paper material, the rectangular tray features softly rounded corners, raised sides, and a decorative central cartouche surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves and ornamental flourishes. Delicate flowers in cobalt blue, ivory, coral, and burgundy enliven the warm gold and ochre background, while smaller floral sprays and crosshatched details decorate the border.

The painted surface has developed extensive craquelure, areas of worn gilding, and scattered losses to the decorative finish, creating a wonderfully distressed appearance reminiscent of old-world Italian interiors.

An inviting accent for a vanity, coffee table, bookshelf, or console, this tray complements traditional, Hollywood Regency, Grandmillennial, and eclectic interiors.

**Condition:** Vintage condition with extensive surface craquelure, paint loss, worn gilding, and edge wear throughout, as photographed.
