Built from wood with a rich, original finish, its intricate geometric patterns create a textured, almost sculptural surface that accentuates the deep patina of age. The year 1913 is prominently carved into the top, flanked by the initials J and D, a personal, handmade touch that makes the piece feel like a one-of-a-kind keepsake. Intact glass panels with a subtle green tint, framed by the detailed woodwork, offer a glimpse of the interior and complement the deep wood tones, while metal hinges and fittings with a well-preserved finish keep the cabinet functional. Its compact proportions are made for display, whether you use it to show off small collectibles, pottery, books, or curios on a console, sideboard, or shelf in a study, entry, or kitchen. It is a natural fit for collectors of folk art and tramp art, and for Arts and Crafts, farmhouse, or rustic interiors that value handmade character.

The cabinet measures 14 inches wide, 8.25 inches deep, and 25.75 inches tall. It is in good vintage condition, retaining its original wood finish with an age-appropriate patina. The glass panels are intact with no visible cracks. Minor surface wear and scuffs on the wood frame are consistent with age and use and add to the character of the piece. As with any vintage item, please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and show the cabinet's finish and wear as it appears today. See less
