This folk art combination furniture is a good example of 19th century compact living. The goal was to fit as many uses into the same item or a limited space, such as this combined chair and table. It is in untouched original condition with natural wear and patina after some 200 years of use. The seat has some older dry cracks. Made in northern Sweden, circa 1840. Healthy and solid. The table is 83 × 58.5 cm and 43 cm high. The chair has the same relative measurements with the total height 89 cm. See less
