This striking collector's piece features a dual-identity layout, combining Art Deco Revival architectural geometry on the front with a dramatic, traditional Chinoiserie garden aesthetic on the reverse.
The front side is rendered as an exquisite trompe-l'œil architectural window featuring a graphic double-arched frame mimicking conservatory or greenhouse glass panes. Set against a luminous, highly reflective silver-gilt background, a vibrant botanical layout comes to life with hand-painted magnolias, tulips, and lush greenery.
The reverse side offers a masterful Chinoiserie contrast: a deep, high-gloss black lacquered surface detailed with hand-painted green bamboo shoots and stylized rock formations.
Supported by heavy-duty original brass hinges and elegant brass-capped feet, this towering screen folds flat or adjusts flexibly to act as a dramatic room separator, privacy screen, or a standalone focal work of art. See less
