The metal musical mechanism is present and in working order. The wooden case has age-related wear (scratches, small marks, craquelure in the high gloss varnish visible on top and minor wear along the edges). ***I have not tested all 24 discs individually to see if they all play but see no obvious signs that they would not be in working order***. I am happy to answer any questions you may have prior to purchase or to send more photos or a video showing that it works if needed. less
