A striking vintage mid-century style hand-blown art glass vase by the iconic Blenko Glass Company of Milton, West Virginia. This piece features the famous double-bulb hourglass silhouette, originally cataloged as Design #7026 and introduced by legendary Blenko design director John Nickerson in 1970. Blown in a beautiful, warm translucent amber "wheat" colorway, the sculptural contours capture and refract light beautifully.
The vase proudly retains its original silver and orange foil lowercase "b" factory sticker on the front profile, dating this specific production piece between 1982 and 2005. The underside features a prominent, authentic rough pontil scar, underscoring its artisan craftsmanship. A gorgeous mid-century accent for any modern shelf, mantel, or tablescape.

Features original factory-inherent characteristics typical of artisan studio glass, including a smooth, under-the-glaze internal ash/tool line inclusion near the top rim (presents as a harmless cosmetic surface streak/scratch from the hand-crafting process) and a prominent rough-snapped pontil on the base. less
