Each crest is delicately carved with a laurel garland, and the molded frames rest on turned, fluted and tapering legs with the classic block-and-panel corners of Louis XVI design. The armchairs have gracefully curved arms on fluted columnar supports. A warm fruitwood-tone finish with a gentle distressed patina gives the set a relaxed, lived-in elegance. Fitted with cream seat cushions with a small rose shell motif (see photos for some minor stains). Pairs beautifully with our matching Louis XVI style parquetry dining table, #9192 (sold separately).
