This sink is in very good condition for its 62 years, with relatively few blemishes to be found, and it … Read more This sink is in very good condition for its 62 years, with relatively few blemishes to be found, and it is nice and shiny from the top of the backsplash to the bottom edge. The original chrome faucet, stopper with lift assembly, and cast-iron wall bracket are included. The official color is "Fawn Beige" described as a warm, pink-cast tan. Top to bottom details: Save for a small, 0.08" chip on the back edge toward the right, the top of the backsplash is fine with no damage or wear beyond a few light scratches. The faucet knobs, spout, and drain stopper mechanism all look very good with chrome that is better than average. The only thing found to point out is some discoloration on the hot water knob. This sink has not been in use for years; thus, the faucet has not been recently tested with water. The movement of the handles feels correct, and the stopper raises and lowers as it should. The surface running around the basin is very good overall. There is some faint wear to the front edge and three tiny chips to the right, the largest of these measuring 0.08". The rest of the front and the sides are in fine shape. The surface where the faucet resides and running down to the bottom of the basin is in excellent condition. In fact, there is not a single chip present in the entire basin. The flange has some chrome loss, and the stopper is good overall with a little wear to the top. The vertical outside portion of the sink is exceptionally nice. All that was found to point out on the front and sides are a couple very faint scratches on the left side and fine scratches at the front. The bottom edge all the way around is lacking the typical chipping and looks fine. When we acquired this sink, the underside was not looking good. There is light surface corrosion that was cleaned up. The area behind the faucet is not heavily rusted, but what is there is actually an excess of rough metal. Multiple coats of white paint were applied to clean up the appearance, and there is a picture showing it before and after. The mechanical and plumbing pieces are in very good physical condition and are ready to be used. Included is the original cast iron mounting bracket that is in good condition.
