The plate features an elaborate allover arrangement of flowering branches, scrolling foliage and stylized leaves in brilliant cobalt blue, rose pink, turquoise, green, orange and gilt accents. The intricate decoration extends across the surface, creating a lively composition characteristic of Chinese Export porcelain produced for the European market.

The softly scalloped rim complements the elaborate floral design, while the shallow form displays the decoration beautifully. The underside is finished in a pale celadon tinted glaze with an unglazed circular foot rim.
