Mid-century Italian desk designed by Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s
This mid-century Italian desk was designed by renowned designer Vittorio Dassi in the 1950s.
The combination of various wood types used in the design is truly captivating. The top, two drawers, and side supports are made of maple, while the centerpiece is teak.
Equally innovative are the different finishes applied to the woods. The maple components feature a glossy finish, while the teak parts have an elegant matte finish. This contrast of texture and sheen adds a refined and visually interesting element to the overall design.
The desk itself boasts a beautiful and well-proportioned design, with particular attention to refined lines and attention to detail.
Good vintage condition, with signs of wear as shown in photos.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase an original mid-century set that has preserved so well over the years.
