A vintage floor mirror in the 1970s–1980s style, featuring clean lines and sleek proportions typical of Italian design of the period.
The rectangular mirror with generously rounded corners is enclosed in a thin anodized aluminum frame. The structure is fixed; the mirror cannot be tilted. The base is a square block of Verde Alpi marble with pronounced white veining, a solid and imposing presence that serves as a counterweight.
The mirror is 36 centimeters wide. The dimensions listed in the product take into account a wider width due to its cantilevered structure.
A noteworthy construction detail: in the recess between the metal parts and the marble base, there is an original wooden insert, which serves as a support and thickness between the two rigid materials and which today bears signs of wear. This element confirms the authenticity and integrity of the piece, which has never been reworked with modern materials.
The combination of green marble, light metal, and wood is a hierarchy of materials very characteristic of Italian production of the time, where the noble part was exposed and the functional part was kept behind.
It's an object that today works perfectly in an entryway, a bedroom, or a dressing room.
