Its distinctive hexagonal silhouette, generous proportions and intricate textile detailing create a dramatic foundation for a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

The six-sided design combines warm ivory elephant-patterned panels with concentric bands of burgundy, muted blue, gold and multicolored striped textiles. Decorative twisted cording defines each section, while intricate knotted fringe surrounds the inner hexagon. Six oversized gold and burgundy tassels finish the outer points. A textured burgundy center, coordinating center opening and rich burgundy fabric backing complete the design. Closes with a hook and loop closure.

Believed to date to the 1990s or early 2000s, this substantial decorative textile reflects the luxurious, globally inspired holiday decorating aesthetic of the period. The original Neiman Marcus retail tag remains attached, showing an original price of $884.

Measures approximately 68” across point to point but excluding tassels, and 62” deep, measured away from the outer points.
