A set of six Fostoria Glass Company Wedding Ring water goblets, stem 6051 1/2, produced in the United States during the documented 1953–1975 production period. Each goblet is formed in clear glass and finished with the pattern's characteristic broad 1/4-inch platinum band around the rim.
The 6.25-inch height corresponds to the documented Wedding Ring water-goblet form and distinguishes these stems from closely related pieces within the same pattern. Each glass has a rounded clear bowl raised on Fostoria's shaped 6051 1/2 stem above a circular foot, with the restrained platinum rim providing the sole applied decoration.
Wedding Ring belongs to Fostoria's mid-twentieth-century Elegant Glass production, combining clear glass construction with a formal metallic border rather than cut or moulded surface ornament.
