This is an elegant Victorian condiment castor set by Reed & Barton, dating to circa 1880–1890. The silverplated pedestal stand features intricate bird, spiderweb, and architectural motifs characteristic of Aesthetic Movement design, crowned by a tall loop handle with an ornamental urn accent.
Six matching glass vessels feature delicate etched floral decoration and scalloped detailing around the lower bodies. The ensemble includes three bottles with faceted glass stoppers and three vessels with silverplated shaker tops. A striking addition to an antique silver collection or a beautifully layered dining room display.
The underside is stamped “MF’D & PLATED BY REED & BARTON” and numbered 3992.
