Founded originally as A.J. Beatty & Sons before relocating to Tiffin, Ohio, in 1889, the Tiffin Glass Company (operating under the United States Glass Company banner) became synonymous with luxury, high-end tableware.
While mass-produced "Depression glass" of the 1930s was cranked out by the millions for dime stores and cereal boxes, Tiffin distinguished itself in the premium "Elegant Glass" category. Their pieces were hand-blown or pressed using superior quality glass formulas, then meticulously hand-finished with fire-polished rims, optic patterns, or delicate wheel-etched motifs.
By the late 1930s and into the 1940s, Tiffin’s colored glass lines—particularly their signature translucent rose pink—became the pinnacle of entertaining style, sold in high-end department stores like Tiffany's and Macy's. Because the public taste shifted decisively from colored glass back to clear crystal in the mid-1940s, these beautiful pink collections were produced for a relatively brief, golden era, making a coordinated group of 22 pieces a truly unique find.

A gorgeous set of four vintage elegant glassware flat juice tumblers by Tiffin-Franciscan in the coveted "Minton" pattern (manufactured circa 1930–1967).
Each tumbler features a classic panel-optic cut body with faint, elegant vertical lines that capture and bounce the light beautifully.
