Infuse your home with classic English traditional style with this authentic antique 12-inch oval serving platter. Crafted by the historic W.R. Midwinter Ltd. pottery in Staffordshire, England, during the early 20th century (circa 1910s–1920s), this earthenware platter features the highly coveted and deeply romantic "Landscape" pattern.
The center of the piece showcases a finely detailed pinkish-red transferware vignette depicting an idyllic pastoral countryside scene complete with classical architectural ruins, an arched bridge, and a winding river with period figures. The scenic design is beautifully framed by an intricate floral border along a gently scalloped rim.
This timeless piece is a stellar addition to any grandmillennial plate wall gallery, a curated chinoiserie cabinet display, or an elegant tablescape for seasonal hosting.
