A charming pair of vintage 1989 Austin Productions golfer sculptures featuring a distinguished gentleman and elegantly dressed lady, beautifully capturing the sophistication and leisurely elegance of early golf.
The gentleman stands approximately 16 inches tall, wearing a traditional argyle sweater, golf cap, knickerbockers, and tall stockings while holding his golf club. His companion, measuring approximately 13.5 inches tall, is depicted preparing her putt in a flowing skirt, puff-sleeved blouse, and fashionable hat.
Both sculptures feature beautifully detailed clothing, expressive poses, and a rich two-tone finish in antique gold and deep burgundy with bronze-like patination.
Each piece bears Austin Productions markings and a 1989 copyright date. The gentleman stands on a rectangular textured base, while the lady rests on an oval pedestal base.
